A high intensity, bright cherry red wine, intense and complex on the nose. On the palate it presents plums, cherries, tobacco, spices and base of coffee and liquorice; it is full, round and velvety.
Tempranillo from San Vicente de la Sonsierra (La Salviaza) and Graciano from Viana (Matamala).
WINEMAKING
Hand-harvested in 20 kg boxes. Fermented in French oak tanks for 19 days; malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels and subsequent ageing for 24 months, with a minimum of a further 24 months in bottle.
