An intense garnet red wine with intense aromas of black fruits, blackcurrant, spices and cocoa. Silky on the palate, with round, persistent tannins, a good concentration of fruit and balanced acidity.
Vineyard located in the surroundings of Logroño and Villamediana (La Plana), at an altitude of 500 metres.
SOIL
Clay and limestone soil with a high alluvial content.
WINEMAKING
Fermentation in French oak vats with indigenous yeasts for 10 days. Malolactic fermentation takes place over 3 months in oak barrels, in contact with the lees.
AGEING
Aged for 10 months in French oak barrels.
TASTING NOTES
